We’re dedicated to making a difference in the lives of abuse, kidnapping, and sex trafficking victims in Ohio. Through our three initiatives, we provide support, resources, and advocacy for the most vulnerable.

Kids In Danger Campaign

    Teaching communities to recognize the SOS hand signal that could save a child's life.

Meet Our Leadership Team

Michelle vinson seeden

Michelle Vinson Seeden

President/Founder, Michelle brings years of community advocacy experience and a passionate vision for protecting vulnerable children.

Michelle is an author (With This Ring -2014, The Final Battle, A Fable for All Ages-2022), a Bible teacher and mentor having served as youth minister and working in children’s ministries for over 26 years at the Tower of Prayer Worship Center (Formerly: Prayer Tower Church.) She has tutored and mentored children in the Akron Public School System from third grade to graduation (2003-2012), during those years she sometimes volunteered as a teacher’s assistant. She functioned as Block Watch President from 2008-2016 and served on the Mayor’s Steering Committee which planned and hosted a Senior Health Fair at Buchtel High School (2010). 

In 2006, she formed her first non-profit charity, Blossoms for Magnolia, which distributed clothing donations to assist jobless women and individuals, she supported their efforts with resume writing and job coaching. Professionally, she worked in mortgage refinancing, retail, and telemarketing sales and as a bonded Insurance Adjuster Agent.

Lisa patterson

Lisa Patterson

Vice Chairperson, Minister Lisa D. Patterson (Licensed, State of Ohio) is a member of Cascade Faith Ministries under the leadership of Pastors Paul & Diane Jackson and serves as an assistant pastor, she is a new author (Being Single is OK, Living Single with a Purpose 2024). She also finds time to do outreach and phenomenal event planning for her target audience at the Annual Women’s Prayer Luncheon.

As founder of Expounding on the Word Ministries, LLC., she also heads her own non-profit business, Healthy Men Live, where she shares a special interest in health of men and families and addresses the necessity for men and families to maintaining good health through diet, exercise, good relationships and clean living. Professionally, Lisa worked in various capacities within the healthcare industry for 33 year and seven years in the Akron Public system until she retired to assist in the care of family members.

Marvie byrd

Marvie Byrd

Financial Secretary, Marvie has over 30 years of banking experience serving as customer service liaison and mortgage specialist with Akron National Bank Ohio, aka, National City Bank, aka, PNC Bank, at both their Akron and Brecksville locations. Marvie teamed up with a neighbor and friend for 15 years to voluntarily plant flowers to beautify homeowners and local businesses in their neighborhood. To show appreciation some rewarded them with small donations.

Donnie lewis

Donnie Lewis

Business Insider and Spiritual Mentor, Elder Donny L. Lewis loves the Word of God (Licensed State of Ohio) he enjoys teaching and expounding on the Word. One of 6 children of the late Evangelist Velma Lewis he began working at an early age, after retiring he started a lucrative lawn service business, which he called One Man and A Lawnmower, prior to that he was a physical Lab Technician for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company and has supervisory and technical skills from various employers.

  • Coached South Rangers Football, Summit Lake Basketball, and West Akron Little League Baseball
